We are fully aware of the importance of planning your event right,  as we have provided packages for hundreds of different events across the South East. We know that working with one person can make a stress free day for everyone. Our event manager can discuss all your preferences to prepare the perfect marquee package for your big event.

Every package we put together is made to your requirement and needs for your event, however these can include some or all of the items listed below:

  • Luxury Lined Marquee with Lighting and Flooring
  • Furniture (Tables, Chairs)
  • Dancefloor
  • Luxury Toilets
  • Generator
  • Reception Drinks & Canapés
  • 2 or 3  Course Catering Package, Hog Roast / Buffet etc.
  • Licenced Cash Bar 
  • All Table Linen
  • All Staff
  • All Cutlery, Crockery, Glassware
  • Rubbish Removal after the event.

 

So how much does this all cost? A rough rule of thumb, £50-£100 per person would cover the entire event for a typical wedding with us. That’s right, that includes everything mentioned above. However we have put together some special wedding packages for both marquees and catering to help you with your decision. No job is too big or too small for us here at Southern Events so we can certainly accomodate for even the most detailed events. Our members of staff can provide an unrivaled service throughout the day, from preparing the dining area through to directing guests around the venue.

We are frequently asked about timelines for your wedding, below we have put together an example of a 1pm wedding at a church with reception 30 minutes away: 

 

1pm - Wedding at Church (civil ceremonies usually take 30 minutes)

2.30pm - Guests arrive at Reception Venue/ Welcome Drink Served 

3pm - Canapes Served 

4.30pm - Guests Take their seats for wedding breakfast 

6.30pm - Speeches 

7 - 7.30pm - Evening Guests Arrive 

7.45pm - Cutting of your cake followed by First Dance 

8pm - Band/DJ begin and First Dance 

9.30pm - Evening buffet Served 

11.30pm - DJ/Band last song and Bar Closes

12pm - Carriages

 

This can be amended to your wedding as no two weddings are ever the same. Timelines are great as a guideline but very rarely do timings stick, as mentioned its a guide.
