FLOORING HIRE SUSSEX

Great you`ve decided on your style of marquee, now lets look at flooring options. We can provide a range of flooring hire options across Sussex. We find there`s always lots of questions when it comes to flooring:

Do I need Flooring?
What type of flooring?
Can we place carpet/ matting on tarmac?
Is my ground uneven?

We have provided a few descriptions below which should explain our flooring options and what they can be used for. However if your still unsure and would like to talk through options please contact us so we can discuss it with you.

Rubber Backed Carpet

This is our rubber backed carpet that can be used for more then one event. If your not sure about matting but don't like the price of new carpet this is a great middle option. It comes in beige or black.

Coir Matting

This woven matting is a simple way of covering the grass in your marquee. We can offer you this in Natural fleck or Black, so depending on your event we have something for you.

Matting can only be used on grass, due to it needing to be nailed in place. If you require a walkway to your marquee this can also be a great use of matting.

New Carpet

This marquee cord is a great way to add a splash of colour to your marquee. We have a choice of 15 colours for you to choose from. We recommend that you use this on grass or other permeable surfaces this is due to it being nailed into the surface below.

The carpet is laid on top of polythene, this is done to prevent water seeping up into the carpet. Please note that although we endeavour to keep the carpet as dry as possible, ground and weather conditions will determine this.

Solid Flooring with Carpet

Solid Flooring is a popular option when placing marquees onto uneven surfaces, solid surfaces or sometimes just because the customer wants to have a smooth surface for their guests. We highly recommend marquees from October through to April use solid flooring to help with the ground conditions.

Our solid flooring is made from ply wood panels which are connected together to create a smooth surface this is then covered with your choice in colour carpet. Please note our flooring is not suitable to be uncovered.
