BACKGROUND OF SOUTHERN EVENTS
Southern Events was established in 2002 by Tom Stovold. The business grew from an entertainment company which offered everything from marquees to mobile nightclubs. We have since expanded and due to an increase in team and resources we are now a complete event provider supplying bespoke wedding packages and catering for all budgets and types of events.
Tom teamed up with Nick Collins in 2004 and together started expanding the business into marquee and furniture hire.
In 2011 the company merged with Bingham’s Caterers, and with the huge support from Steve Elliot developed the catering side of the business to what it is today. We have a reputation of delivering fantastic events on time, on budget, every time.
In 2015 Southern Events acquired Style Marquee Ltd, This super event brings two of the largest event companies in Sussex together to create a premium Sussex marquee company and a market leader in Sussex wedding catering all under one roof.
2016 brought the start of a new adventure for Southern Events and Revived Inns with the purchase of a Pub, The Rose Revived in Hadlow, Kent. This pub has the perfect space to host your personal wedding or event. So contact the team today for your Kent Wedding.
The start of 2018 has seen Southern Events and Revived Inns extend to a second pub (The Royal Oak) this time in Newick near our main office.
